I was just looking over this interesting article on yahoo, 7 Reasons You’re still Overweight and I found a few things that I’m going to look into changing, just to see what happens. The big one is plate size. I live with my mom and she has some good size plates, now she has small ones too so I’m thinking I may start trying to cut back on my plate size and see if that helps me to lose some weight. I’m also going to try to chew my food more. I think because in school we are trained to eat quickly we don’t actually chew and enjoy our food. Most times in school we had about 15 minutes to eat, so we shoveled it in and went back to class. It’s sad really and I wish schools would change their lunch hours to allow more time for students to eat.
I’m also thinking I may have to rework my diet. It seems like I just have to eat so much and it’s hard to do. I’m tired of always feeling full and never being hungry. Yes it’s not the bliss people think it is. It’s annoying! I’m hoping that making these few changes will help me out. I need to keep evolving my plan so that one, I don’t get bored, and two so I actually do continue to lose weight.
