I have really changed up my diet the last few weeks and it’s paying off. I have more energy, at least when it’s not really hot out and I’m losing weight faster. I’ve gone to very low carb to help control my blood sugar and though I do get some carbs I’m cutting out most pasta, sugar and bread products. I still eat fruit, yogurt and some cereal but only with lots of fiber to counter act the carbs.

So far I’m happy with the change and it’s been easier then I thought, though living with my mom who loves her carbs can make it hard it’s not too bad. I do allow myself to splurge still so I can have the occasional pizza or cake, but only once a week.

I’ve also made a change on this blog, I am now going to weigh in on Friday. I’ve found that my weekend schedule seems to add on water weight as usually by Wednesday I drop a few pounds only to put it back on Saturday and Sunday. I’m mostly doing this so I can track my real weight loss. So look for my weigh in post tomorrow!
