Okay I have not lost 100lbs since I started this blog, but I realized today when I went back to my weigh in post from Saturday that I have now officially lost 100 pounds since I became a diabetic in 2007!  Yes I felt a need to share this with you as even though it took me almost five years to do it, I have lost a whole person!

I’d love to say I have more energy, but the diabetes is really preventing that. I am so tired and out of it right now as my sugar is so bad, but I’m hoping that as I lose more and more it will come under better control. I’m not on medication right now as I can’t afford a doctor or the pills or the test so it’s hard to compare now to just after I was diagnosed and on medication. I had a ton of energy, now I just want to sleep all the time!

Again I’m going slow with the workouts, weight lifting is the big thing and I’m only doing a little bit every day and going from there as I don’t want to do too much as I get tired so quick. I have already seen a change in my muscle mass and my energy is slowly coming back, but it’s not like it was. I’m hoping with a little more effort and a slow increase in time spent every morning. I will be able to get my sugar back. Right now I don’t have test strips so I can’t keep really good track currently.

I am really happy I reached this point it’s hard to look at my old pictures and see myself, but I’m liking me more and more now. I also know I’m healthier then I was, now down to losing another 100. Hopefully it will be faster then the first 100!

Thank you! I am really happy with it and though I have really lost a lot more (because I gained some back) At least overall I’m not having a huge problem keeping most of it off! everyone wants fast, but I think going slower makes me make small changes that I keep doing instead of big changes that I change back from.
